These Seven Spooky Things should keep you well spooked from April 6th to April 12th.
Check out this weeks activities below:
The end of this week is easter, so it only seems right that this week has a little Easter theme to make it a little more spooky (Halloween is all about eggs too right?). To start the week off there's a really easy craft project that you could potentially do with things in your home. All you need are pens, paints and plastic eggs!
Decorate plastic eggs and fill with candy for a Halloween egg hunt. Plus it'll be fun to do around the garden if the weather is nice right now. Find out more right here.
Here is another fun craft project that you can keep on going and going for as long as you like! All you need is rocks and orange paint.
Search for as many small rocks and pebbles that you can find then paint them all orange. Leave them in a box (decorate the box too if you like) and then every now and again give one a different pumpkin face. You could do this with the kids too and maybe hide them around the garden also. It would be great if you don't want to give out candy for an egg hunt and instead the person who collects the most wins a prize.
You can read a little more about this right here.
These vintage-style noise makers are another crafty project that is a lot of fun, super easy and great if you're having a little at home Easter party this week.
All you need are balloons, card and lolly sticks. You can make these as a fun little toy or even place them into little Easter bags for kids.
Find out more and also print out the templates for these right here.
This week, Thursday is movie night and for tonight's film you've got Holidays.
Holidays was released in 2016 and is a horror anthology film that focuses on different holidays we celebrate throughout the year. This includes Easter and Halloween. The Easter short is actually one of my favourites from the film and has a really great twist.
This film could technically be watched during any holiday so make this one of your new favourite films to watch throughout the year. The soundtrack is pretty great too.
There is also a bonus movie for this week so keep scrolling below to check it out.
Another crafty make for you today (we could all do with more crafty things lately :) and this one might be a little tricky to make if you don't have a fake pumpkin... but you can easily substitute that for something else and get the same great effect.
This galaxy pumpkin is fun to make and looks fantastic. Even though the weather seems to be getting a little warmer it's still cold at night. So why not make this, build a fort and read/play games with this twinkling around the room. The perfect indoor camping night.
Find out more and how to make it right here.
Continuing with this weeks Easter theme, today we're making Marbled Eggs! All you need is food colouring and eggs to make these spooky snacks. They're also a load of fun for kids to make too. Decorate with plastic spiders to add an extra touch of spook.
Oh and keep the egg cartons for tomorrow make.
Make your own right here.
This is your last Easter themed make for the week but hopefully if you've made any of this weeks creations you've added a little spooky touch to this holiday.
Using egg cartons you can cut and paint to make little hanging bats! You can paint them in all different colours and decorate them however you like, maybe even paint them into bright pastels to add to a lovely spooky Easter display.
Find out more on how to make these right here.
If you love Trick'r Treat then you will love this mini short that was made by Fear Net a few years ago. Happy Easter to all those celebrating this week!
