Ten Spooky Product Finds For April 2022

April is very nearly over, which also means we're about to hit the 6 month mark to Halloween. YAY!

The past month has definitely been a spooky month and i've come across so many amazing spooky products that I knew needed to be shared in this month blog post.

Every product in this months post are all from small business, with a handful also specialising in Halloween products too, so be sure to not only check out the feature products but everything else available also.

Halfway to Halloween Range From Hollow Hill Apparel

I'm kicking off this months list with not just one product but an a whole range of new products!

Hollow Hill Apparel is a small business that sells heaps of spooky apparel and this weekend (April 30th) they're launching a brand new Halfway to Halloween collection.

They've been teasing this new release for a while now and I personally cannot wait to see all of the new treats available. One of the product they have been teasing is this 'Lumber Jacks' shirt. The front has an embroidered Jack O'Lantern design with an awesome print on the back too (you'll have to check out their website and instagram for more pics ;).

Serving Plates

These plates are absolutely brilliant! The plates feature one of five different designs, including this 'Please Don't Summon Demons In The House" design and are also available in two different sizes.

All I can picture is an entire set of these being used for a fancy dinner party... they'd be a great talking point!

Pumpkin Mat

This find was a very nice surprise, mainly for the fact it's from a UK seller!

This Pumpkin Mat is perfect for your bathroom, bedroom, hallway, crypt, torture chamber.... the possibilities are endless and it's also made from 100% cotton too!

There's also a matching Black Cat design available if too if Pumpkins are not really your thing.

Iridescent Glass Bat

Can you believe we're nearly halfway through spring already? Although i'm happy to see Spring and Summer go by quickly, I can't deny that I do enjoy the longer days sometimes and with them brings more sunshine.

So why not make use of the extra sunlight with one of these stunning Iridescent Glass Bats? Perfect for hanging in your windows during the long sunny days.

Make every single day magical with this Seek Magic Poster!

This poster is available in three different sizes, with two of the sizes also available framed. I absolutely love this design and think it would look amazing in a gothic themed kitchen or bedroom.

Fireside Ghosts Print

This one i'm a little obsessed with as it is a true thing of beauty!

This ghostie print features two sheet ghosts huddled around a fire in the middle of the woods and the moon shining down on them. I absolutely love this, especially the use of colours and how it gives off such a warm glow.

Pumpkin Plant Pots

Returning to spring once again and this time we're talking pots, specifically pumpkin pots!

These pumpkin pots are 3d printed and are available in 3 different sizes and you even have the option to change the colours too. If you're after a little spooky touch for your garden and home this year, then these might just be the perfect purchase!

Halloween Stacking Boxes

I have to admit, i'm a sucker for Halloween storage boxes, jars, pots, basically anything that is spooky themed and can be used for storage and these stacking boxes are incredible.

They're available in different designs and style and each one is hand-painted too. Personally I love the Boo, Pumpkin and Trick or Treat set, but then again i'd happily take every design.

Halloween Decor Hunter Pin

How cool is this pin? I actually came across this pin thank to someone I follow on Instagram but I fell in love with it right away.

The pin features an adorable autumnal design with a happy Jack O'Lantern in the centre. If like me, you absolutely love the buzz of Halloween shopping, then this pin is definitely for you as let's be honest here, one of the best things about Spooky Season is the decor!

Ghost Cat Necklace

One thing that I can definitely say soooo many people absolutely love when it comes to spooky merch, is spooky cats. Black Cats, Witchy Cats, Zombie Cat and especially Ghost Cats, us ghouls absolutely love a spooky feline!

Dead Happy - The New Collection From October 31st Full Reveal!

Dead Happy is the brand new limited edition collection from October 31st that will be released October 1st!

The collection features a whole range of new spooky products which you can check out below. One final product will be revealed in the next couple of days but for now you can view all of the new collection in full.

Each new product will be limited edition and won't be restocked, so if you have your eye on something, grab it while you can!

Available October 1st 2020!

Three New Prints

Three new A5 Prints will be available from the store. The first an October Ghost print, a cute 'Hide and Eek!' print featuring cute ghosts playing a midnight game and the third print being the 'Let's Get Spooky!' design.

Haunted House Countdown Sign

This countdown sign is made from metal and includes a dry-wipe marker pen so you can easily countdown the days until Halloween. Simply write how many days are remaining in the moon. The metal sign also has pre-drilled holes for easy hanging.

Haunted Home Tea Towel

Haunt your kitchen and your home with this Haunted Home Tea Towel. The towel is 100% cotton and comes packaged in a cardboard sleeve with spooky design.

Playful Ghosts T-Shirt

An October 31st first! T-shirts are making their debut with the first being this cute playful ghost design. Each T-shirt is printed onto a cotton fruit of the loom tee and will be available in sizes Small, Medium, Large and Extra Large.

Each T-Shirt will be released as a pre-order for one week only. Once the week has ended the will go into production and all t-shirts will be shipped asap. If any T-shirts remain once pre-orders have been shipped they will be re-added to the store.

Trick Or Treat T-Shirt

This tee is a little different to the rest of the range, mainly due to the fact it doesn't contain any ghosts but a Halloween range wouldn't be complete without a pumpkin or two and so this orange tee was created!

Each T-Shirt will be released as a pre-order for one week only. Once the week has ended the will go into production and all t-shirts will be shipped asap. If any T-shirts remain once pre-orders have been shipped they will be re-added to the store.

Ghostie Stickers

Available as a full set or individually. These ghost stickers come in four different designs and are waterproof! You might recognise the ghost creeping out of the pumpkin from the Trick-or-Treat collection too. Originally part of the candle range, he's made a return in sticker form.

Autumn Ghosts Mug

What collection wouldn't be complete without a new mug? This ghost features five adorable ghosts playing with leaves and candy corn.
The mug has a black inside and handle and full print all the way around.

Pumpkin Ghost Pillow

It's been a while but there is finally a brand new pillow! This Ghostie Pillow features a happy ghost holding a pumpkin. It's made using minky fabric and is super soft.
The design is double sided with the October 31st logo on the reverse.

Tote Bag!

This tote bag features adorable ghosts and pumpkin treat buckets!
It's 100% cotton and each one is unique with the ghosts flying one way or another or a mixture of the two!

Missing Halloween and the month of October? Me too! So from now until Halloween, each week they'll be a new 'Seven Spooky Things' post to ensure you can add a bit of Halloween to your day 365 days a year.

Monday

The start of spooky season has finally landed in the UK and although summer still has over a month to go before Autumn arrives, now is the perfect time to get out there and hunt down those spooky treats. Stores such as TK Maxx, Homsense and The Range all have Halloween products available now with more stores starting to stock products too. So todays make are these super quick and easy Halloween shopping bags!

You can customise these with any fabric you like and you'll be ready to trick or treat yourself in no time. Find out all the steps on how to make your own bag right here.

Tuesday

Did you know yesterday (Sunday August 2nd) was National Colouring Book Day? Well to celebrate Sandstar Art released a free colouring page and it is adorable! So today we're going to be colouring in.

Wednesday

We're continuing with fabric today and going with this awesome felt Halloween Chandelier.

You could make this easily with items you might already have around the house, so for some of you this will be ready to make right away. The instructions require iron-on black letters but you could very easily switch this for cut out felt letters and simply glue these on too.

Thursday

Todays make is a really quick and easy creation but the way The Shabby Tree has used these diy witch hats gave me some great decorating ideas and so I thought these would be great to share too and help with this years Halloween decorating.

The instructions require you to spray paint these black but just like yesterdays make, you can easily substitute the black spray paint with black card and avoid breathing in any fumes.

Friday

It's time for a little bit of reading today and i'm sharing a short article about six of the most haunted places in Edinburgh.

I have visited Edinburgh so many times and every single visit I have fallen more and more in love with it. The city itself is absolutely gorgeous and its dripping with sinister history and haunted streets. This article delves briefly into some of the most haunted places within the city. Hopefully this will peak your interest into looking into this wonderful city even more and will lead you down a spooky rabbit hole into it's dark past. If you ever have the opportunity to visit this city then definitely go! I highly recommend the Vaults, which alone have heaps of history and twisted tales. If you can book an overnight ghost hunt too, then definitely do so... you will not regret it!

Saturday

These ghosts are quite simply adorable and another easy make. I have shared a similar make in the past using cheese cloth but these ghosts take a little more work (but not much more). They look great with battery powered tealights underneath too.

Place these around your house, within a mini pumpkin patch or just use a cute little lamp this Halloween.

Sunday

Let's end this week with a film, as tonight is movie night! This weeks movie is the cult classic and highly praised Bram Stokers Dracula!

Released in 1992, the film became the 9th highest grossing film of the year and was considered a box office hit. Over the years the film has developed cult status and is often seen as one of the best vampire films to exist.

The film stars Winona Ryder, Gary Oldman, Keanu Reeves and Anthony Hopkins. If you have never seen this film before then tonight is the perfect night!
