Kick starting this weeks Haunted week with a super easy and fun make! With all of the crazy toilet roll buying people seem to be doing lately you might have an abundance of these around the house.
Grab a black marker, toilet roll tubes, scissors and white paint and let's getting making these adorable ghosts.
To find out more on how to make these just head right over here.
Tomorrow is going to be movie night so today we're making these awesome candy/popcorn buckets. All you need is card (and lot's of yummy snacks to fill these with) and a craft knife and you're all set!
You can also download the templates for these from the link here and find out all the details to make these perfect. These really do look fantastic and if you're not in the mood for snacks why not place a few battery tea lights inside and create a spooky glowing haunted house.
Wednesday This week, as it's a haunted theme there are two films to check out! The first film is the kid friendly The Haunted Mansion by Disney. Based on the popular ride of the same name and featuring Eddie Murphy, the film focuses on a family who go to Gracey Manor only to find it's haunted and not all is as it seems. |
If you watched The Haunted Mansion yesterday then you will recognise this clock! The 13 hour clock is a symbol of the mansion and is also present within the ride. Although you can buy actual replica clocks, they can be quite costly. So why not make your very own?
This make isn't the easiest and will require a lot of patience but is totally worth it and really does look fantastic. To find out everything you need to make this and all the details head right on over here.
Another make but a super easy one at that. All you need are pens and paper to create this really fun haunted house picture.
Although you can make these with ghosts and monsters behind each door, why not make an even bigger one and turn it into your very own Halloween countdown calender with 31 doors. It might only be May but that does not mean you can't get your calendar ready for October now.
If you want to make your own Haunted House then check out this link.
It's the weekend and so let's get making these ghost cakes. You can make the actual sponge any way you like and as they're covered in icing why not make the inside a spooky surprise?
They don't take long to make at all but look great. All you need is cake mix, icing, chocolates chips and cake cups. You might even have all of these at home already.
Make your own ghosts right here.
It's time to relax with a book to end Haunted Week and this book could not be anymore perfect to fit with the theme. 199 Cemeteries To See Before You Die by Loren Rhoads is a book filled with 300 photographs of 199 of the best cemeteries you need to check out and if you can't get to them all then this book will take you there.
The author also goes into detail about what makes each one so fascinating and also if any famous people are buried there and more. It's definitely worth a read.
You can grab this book from Amazon, Post Script and Emporium 32.
As a bonus extra each week i'll feature an instagrammer who has a spooky profile that you might like. This way you can add even more spookiness to your instagram feed each week too.
