Part 3 ended at the beginning of the town hall scene and once again this part is filled with alternate lines and scenes.
Part 4 includes the famous locker room and pool scenes too. These scenes were filmed and can very briefly be seen in the original trailers. Both of these scenes are two of the most sort after parts of the film that have never been released, and fans (myself included) were disappointed to not see them on the 25th Anniversary release.
Hopefully we do see them eventually, but for now.... here's part 4...
As Mary works her way through the crowd she is stopped by a middle aged woman, dressed as Glinda from The Wizard of Oz.
Glinda: "Are you a good witch, or a bad witch?"
Mary then lets out a giant burp directly in Glinda's Face. She falls to the floor while other guests scurry off for air.
Mary to Glinda: "Does that answer your question?"
Cut forward again to Winifred now singing "I Put A Spell On You". This scene is only slightly different to what we see on screen.
As the sisters slip into their own haunting rendition of "I Put A Spell On You", the adults, now taking this for a fabulous Halloween put-on, relax and applaud.
On Dave and Jenny applauding, as they ease up, and back away from the stage.
Jenny: " It was a put-on!"
Dave (laughing): "That little son of a gun!"
Dani: "Don't listen to them"
Max: "They're trying to enchant you!"
Jenny: "They're succeeding, beautifully! This is enchanting"
Billy appears behind them on stage and the kids give shout and jump down. They push their way through the crowd as Billy follows behind them. Max and Dani's parents watch them walking through the crowd with Billy behind.
Dave: "Look at them! Have we raised a couple of creative kids or what?"
Jenny: "Wish we had the camera!"
The adults in this scene are seen to make "strange unparental dance movements and convulsions" as the spell takes it's hold. As the kids escape the town hall, Billy gets caught up by the front of a conga line. He's surprised but then get's into it.
Mary: "My nostrils are killing me"
Winifred kicks her in the butt.
Winifred: "Do they feel better now?"
Dani: "She's following our scent"
Cut to the witches outside the school. They head towards the school and notice a broken window, that they use to enter.
We cut to the boys locker room, all three of the witches are walking cautiously past lines of lockers.
Mary: "I smell boys. Sweaty boys"
Sarah: "Isn't it nice?"
Sarah gets excited. They open a locker.
Mary: "'Tis for the little ones. They hand them off these hooks, then close the door. (Pointing to vents) These holes retard spoilage"
Winifred appears between them.
Winifred: "And these are for pulling"
She then grabs their ears and yanks them off camera.
Winifred: "'Tis a drowning pool"
Mary points to the diving board: "They make them walk the plank"
Winifred places a finger in the water and tastes it "The water has been poisoned"
Mary and Sarah then share an evil look at each other. They push Wini into the pool and begin to dance and laugh with glee. This soon comes to an end when they see Winifred standing at the edge of the pool soaking wet. Both of them look at each other and shout "She did it!" as they point at one another.
Mary: "Good thing for us thou has a sense of humour"
WInifred: "Calming circle?"
She then takes their hands which cuts to outside the school where rapid jolts of electricity momentarily illuminate the inside.
Mary and Sarah are smoldering from the jolts, while Winifred is now completely dry.
When the witches are burning in the kiln, instead of them all panicking and Winifred screaming "It's hot" instead the script has her as laughing insanely in the window.
The next scenes play out almost identical to what we see in the film, right up to the kids returning home with Binx. This scene then jumps to Billy, still at the town hall. Billy is now sitting on a folding chair against the wall. He's tired and all partied out. He stands up, heads to the door and gives his new friends a final wave goodbye. No one notices him and he leaves "a lonely guy once again".
Sarah: "We are coming back! We are coming back!"
Mary: "That is my foot!"
Winifred: "Stop wafting! Pull thyselves together!"
Sarah appears first, then Mary and finally Winifred. Mary and Sarah do a little dance, whice Winifred exclaims "The Witch is back!"
When the Sanderson Sisters bump into Jay and Ernie, this scene ends slightly differently.
Jay: "Oh man, how come it's always the ugly chicks that stay out late?"
Ernie: "And these are the ugliest I have ever seen"
Jay:"EWWW! My eyeballs are barfing"
Mary: "Mother always said "Naughty boys taste the best"
Jay: "Uh-oh, I guess these are like real WITCHES!"
They then make crosses with their forefingers, hold them up, then crack up at their own incredible hilariousness....
The sanderson sisters take Dani and fly into the night. Sarah sings her enchanting melody as Max and Allison stand watching Dani be taken away.
