Halloween Stacking BoxesI have to admit, i'm a sucker for Halloween storage boxes, jars, pots, basically anything that is spooky themed and can be used for storage and these stacking boxes are incredible. They're available in different designs and style and each one is hand-painted too. Personally I love the Boo, Pumpkin and Trick or Treat set, but then again i'd happily take every design. You can pick up your own set right here and be sure to check out all designs too! Halloween Decor Hunter PinHow cool is this pin? I actually came across this pin thank to someone I follow on Instagram but I fell in love with it right away. The pin features an adorable autumnal design with a happy Jack O'Lantern in the centre. This week Disney have also announced a new Halfway to Halloween event which heavily features Hocus Pocus in all of their marketing imagery, so be sure to also check out my new post which will be updated all of this week. This month also saw the release of the brand new The Black Flame Society Podcast! Myself and the wonderful Ally aka Hocus Pocus Collector have teamed up to bring you a podcast bursting with all things Hocus Pocus, Halloween and Spooky news! You can check out all current episodes via the new website right here and be sure to rate and subscribe too. Without further ado, here's my favourite Hocus Pocus finds this month. With so many awesome HP things out there, it's definitely getting harder to pick five each time. Sanderson Sisters House StampSome of the best merchandise around for this film come from the fans and this Hocus Pocus stamp sticker is no exception. This features the Sanderson Sisters house and it measures approximately 50mm x 40mm, so much bigger than your standard stamp size but big enough to showcase so much detail! This sticker is also part of a set of three stamps, which all feature famous spooky locations, the first being the Sanderson Sisters cottage and the other two featuring Phantom Manor and Jack Skellington's house. You can buy this sticker on it's own or as a set of three for a lower price right here. Spell Book PinThis is such an awesome pin and a definite must for any Hocus Pocus fan! Created by Swish and Flick Company, this spell book pin features the famous book from the film and it opens up to reveal two spells. The first being the Black Cat Curse and the second the Black Flame Candle spell. The book is held together via a magnetic lock. A fun little touch to this pin is the eye on the front. If you give the pin a little shake, the eye moves too. Two matching 'Spelly Beans' were also released alongside the book pin and these feature a Spell Book design and "I Put A Spell On You" mini jelly bean style pin set too. You can get your claws on all three pins right here. Hocus Pocus ApronsHave you even been brewing your potions in the kitchen and accidentally spilt something over yourself and ruined your favourite Hocus Pocus t-shirt? Well that issue is now a thing of the past, with these custom Hocus Pocus inspired aprons! These aprons are super fun and are available in all three Sanderson Sister styles. You can also pick them up in heaps of sizes from baby to adult too. These are perfect when you're in the kitchen and would also make such an awesome gift for someone who has everything HP! You can check out all three designs right here. Sanderson Sisters StickerThe Sanderson Sisters are by far the best characters in all of Hocus Pocus, that kinda goes without saying, but I do absolutely love seeing other characters get some of the spotlight and this Skeleton Singer sticker is perfect. The Skeleton Singer is only in the film for the shortest time but I always thought he was such a cool guy and looks amazing. This sticker features him singing away with the Sanderson Sisters below and recreates the town hall scene perfectly, right down to Wini's unimpressed look on her face. You can pick up your very own sticker right here. Sanderson Sisters PosterThe final product on this months list is all thanks to Ally of @HocusPocusCollector. Ally recently shared this awesome poster via her Instagram account and I instantly fell in love with it. The poster, which was created by Jen Taylor, features the Spell Book and it has been designed to appear like a promotional poster for the Sanderson Sisters 'I Put A Spell On You' performance. When you turn out the lights, the Sanderson Sisters appear in the hidden glow in the dark design and it looks incredible. This is by far one of the coolest Hocus Pocus posters I have ever seen and you can grab your very own poster and also see the glow in the dark design right here. This is a limited edition design though, so you will need to be quick before it sells out. I had to grab one for myself and I am already looking forward to it arriving and hanging on my wall. Can you believe we're already a quarter of the way through 2022 already? Where is this year going? As we end March and fall into April, we can look forward to the fact that the end of April marks 6 months until Halloween! We're so close to the halfway mark now that I can almost smell the scent of pumpkin spice in the air... Until then though, here's ten of my spooky finds for March 2022. These are ten products I have discovered in the last month that I think you would really enjoy. Halloween Beach TowelsAs much as it pains me to say it... Summer will be here before you know it and that means sunbathing, the beach and lots of Sunshine! Be the talk of the beach with these spooky cute beach towels from Odd Like Us. They're available in a Jack O Lantern and ghost design or the even cute Jack O Lantern Daisy style. The design is printed on one side, with the other made from super soft terry fabric, making it also more absorbent. You can grab your own towels right HERE. Flying Witch Tealight HolderCast a little magic in your home with this Flying Witch Tealight holder. The holder is made from ceramic and features a flying witch, along with stars and dots all around. As you can see from the picture, when it's lit it casts a magical design all over your walls and surfaces. You can also grab this in seven different colours. This holder would look amazing in the place of a pumpkin at Halloween (or have both?). You can grab your own right HERE. Trick or Treat Black Cat T-ShirtShow off your love for Halloween all year with this Trick or Treat Black Cat T-shirt from Austin Pardun Art. You can get your claws on this tee right HERE. Gothmas Witch OrnamentGothmas might be just under 9 months away, but that doesn't mean you can't prepare yourself for making another holiday a little spooky. This decoration features a witch silhouette on a wooden plaque. A gold star and moon have also been added, with a satin ribbon attached to finish it all off. I really love this decoration and think it would look great out all year, hang it on your wall or your year round Halloween tree! You and grab this for your tree right HERE. Halloween Tea SetPumpkin Spice Lattes might not available due to it being Spring but that doesn't mean you can't get your spooky drink fix! While we all wait for the best drink of the year to return, fill the void with this incredible tea set from Vahdam! The set contains four different flavours of loose leaf tea, with one flavour being Pumpkin Spiced Herbal Tea! You could even make your own iced teas with these, to keep yourself cool when the weather warms up. All four teas also come packed in a orange Halloween themed gift box and you can also get your hands on a matching mug too. Grab your own tea set right HERE. Halloween Michael Myers BobbleheadHalloween Ends is due for release this October and although it might be the last Halloween film (for now) you can still re-live the original with this awesome Bobblehead! Featuring Michael Myers dressed as a ghost from the original 1978 release. The bobblehead includes Bobs glasses and a phone at the base of the stand. There's also many more Halloween and general Horror characters available from Royal Bobbles, but this is by far my favourite release so far. Grab your very own Ghost Michael right HERE. Creepy Cross-StitchSo many of us discovered new hobbies during lockdown and it was so great to see so many people getting back into crafting and art in general. One particular craft that I saw a lot of people take up was cross-stitching and this book is perfect for any spooky ghoul who wants to create awesome cross-stitch designs for your home. There are 25 projects in total for you to complete, with easy to follow instructions too. If you need an added homemade spooky touch to your haunted home, I definitely recommend this spooky book! Pick up a copy right HERE. Bat Bottle OpenerHave you ever wished your bottle opener was a little more... spooky? Well wish no more, as you can now get your hands on this awesome Bat shaped bottle opener. It's made by Ototo who are famous for their original and unique homeware products and this bottle opener is no exception. The head of the opener has cute ears and when you attach the cork screw to your bottle and pull up the handles, you'll also be greeted by bat wings too! I absolutely love this and know a friend who would absolutely love this too, so it's definitely going into my basket. Grab your own bottle opener right HERE. Crystal GhostsWhile searching for gifts for a friends upcoming birthday, I came across these cute crystal ghosts. They're available in two different designs and five different stone types too. The ghost pictured is made from Lava stone, while you can also purchase a ghost in Red Jasper, Tiger's Eye, Rose Quartz and Kambaba Jasper. Each ghost is around 2 inches high and comes in a gift box for safe storage. The Red Jasper ghost is taller and comes in a more traditional sheet ghost design. Haunt your home with one of these ghosties right HERE. Black Cat MugI have said it before and I will say it over and over again... you can NEVER have too many Halloween mugs. Although my cupboards are crying out for no more mugs, this Black Cat mug from Sourpuss might just find it's way to my home very soon. It features their classic black cat design and is perfect for your spooky teas and coffee. You can also grab this design in matching salt and pepper shakers and candle holders too! Grab your own black cat mug right HERE. It's March! Which means it's time for another five Hocus Pocus finds. These are once again all products from small artists and businesses that I have discovered over the past few weeks and absolutely love what they have created. You can never have enough Hocus Pocus merchandise and i'm always on the hunt for more things, so if you have something that you have created and are putting out there for the world to see, get in touch! I would love to see and hopefully feature you in Aprils feature too. So without further ado, here's this months HP finds! Digital Hocus Pocus PosterEagle Eyed fans of the film will recognise this poster from the very start of the film. Etsy store DreadfuLee has recreated the opening scene of the film that features a book with the Sanderson Sisters cottage on the front cover. This print was originally painted in acrylic paints and then scanned for easy editing, which has helped to enhance certain details of the design. The print is super cheap too (less than £3) and looks great framed from what the reviews are saying. You can also pick up a vintage style Sanderson Sisters treatbag download from the store too. You can purchase this digital print right HERE. Spell Book and Candle DecorThe next find on this months list are these Hocus Pocus Decorations. The set includes the Spell Book and Black Flame candle. Each design is printed onto matte vinyl and they both look amazing. These would look so great as Halloween decorations or just placed amongst your growing collection. You can also get your hands on a set of Sanderson Sisters decorations from this store too. To get your claws on these, just click right HERE. The Sanderson Sisters Art PrintSpeaking of the Sanderson Sisters, this next find is sure to cast a spell on you. This art print from the Brettisagirl store is incredible. It features all three of the Sanderson Sisters on 5x7 inch card stock. I absolutely love the style the sisters have been drawn in and always appreciate new interpretations of their look by different artists. I have previously purchased from this store in the past and Brett Manning is such an incredible artist, so please be sure to check out all of the other tricks and treats available too. You can pick up this print right HERE. Hocus Pocus Miniature Model HouseI could talk about this next find all day. This is definitely my favourite find on this month's list and I actually discovered this in February, but at the time it was sold out, so didn't make last months cut. This miniature model by The Haunted Warehouse features the Sanderson Sisters House in incredible detail. The house is 3D printed and then hand painted. Bushes and grass have been added and a battery powered tealight candle has been inserted into the base, which allows the house to light up and flicker. The rising smoke from the chimney really finishes this entire house off and I absolutely love it, so much so that I couldn't resist not buying it for myself and can happily say this is definitely a MUST for any Hocus Pocus Fan. It looks even better in person too! The Sanderson Sisters Miniature house does ship worldwide and you can get your hands on your very own house right HERE. Yabbos Enamel Pin"Max likes your yabos, in fact he loves 'em!" Possibly one of the funniest lines in the film is now in pin form and it's written right across Dani's famous black and orange witch hat. This pin from Oh My Goodness Pins is so cute and funny. I love how it even includes the small pom poms that are wrapped around the hat too. You can add this pin to your collection right HERE. Handmade By Robots recently announced that five brand new Hocus Pocus figures will be released this year. The figures you'll be able to get your hands on are of Wini, Sarah, Mary, Billy and Binx. Due for release this July, each figure measures approximately 5 inches high and comes in a presentation box. Handmade by Robots figures are famous due to the fact they're designed to look like they're knitted, when in fact they're made from vinyl and even have a vinyl tag that looks like it's stitched into the figure. You can check out additional info and pics for each figure right here and be sure to pre-order them from all good stockists too! NECA have announced that Hocus Pocus will be joining its line of Toony Terrors! You'll be able to get your hands on all three of the Sanderson Sisters, along with Billy too. The figures will all be released in stylised packaging and measure approximately 6 inches high. You'll also be able to grab these individually or as a set of three for the Sanderson Sisters. The estimated shipping date for all four is currently August 2022 and unfortunately, these are listed as only being licensed within the USA, which means no international release is planned. You can check out pictures in the gallery below. This year will mark the 29th Anniversary of Hocus Pocus and after nearly 30 years, we are finally getting a sequel! If like me, your excitement for this film cannot be measured, then you'll love these Hocus Pocus 2 facts. The sequel is due for release this fall and all year i'll be sharing all kinds of Hocus Pocus 2 blog posts to celebrate. Please note however, that this does contain small tiny spoilers that some of you may want to avoid. I have intentionally not included any leaked set images or videos that have been posted online and have not gone into lengthy details of confirmed scenes and characters, but this should be just enough to raise your excitement level ever so slightly, without ruining any of the film for you. You have been warned! Rhode IslandThe original Hocus Pocus had a large amount of scenes filmed in the city of Salem, Massachusetts and although all of the filming locations are now huge tourist spots, Hocus Pocus 2 has moved away from the Witch City and instead has been filmed in Rhode Island but still the film is based in Salem. Months before the film was due to begin filming, there was rumours that the cast and crew would be returning to Salem but unfortunately this wasn't the case. It does make me wonder if these new filming locations will be as popular in 30 years time, as they are in Salem today. Disney+ ExclusiveThe long awaited sequel will be a Disney+ exclusive release. Although I could definitely see HP2 making big $$ at the box office, Disney instead are playing it safe (and no doubt attracting thousands of new subscibers) by releasing the film to its streaming service. The original film didn't do that well when it was released in 1993. Not only was it released in July, it also only made $39 million. It did make a profit, but was still considered a flop. Jump 29 years later and the film is a huge hit and Halloween cult classic. The Sanderson Sisters Are Back!Fans of Hocus Pocus will have heard all of the rumours over the years, even the rumour that Tina Fey was writing the sequel and that Disney were planning on rebooting the film with a brand new cast. Bette had also expressed her interest in the returning and on many occasions has stated that Winifred Sanderson was her favourite role. Well we can scream with pure joy as all three of the original Sanderson Sisters are back and the first official image of all three that Disney released last year is enough to give anyone butterflies. Iconic!Over the years, the tale of the Sanderson Sisters has grown and so has a huge fan base for them. The sequel appears to have a large part of the movie set at the 27th Annual Salem Scare Fest. This festival is all about the three witches and features themed stalls and rides and even a Sanderson Sisters costume contest. What's Hocus Pocus Without A Little Song?I Put A Spell On You isn't the only song that will be casting a little magic on you from now on (and Sarah's Garden of Magic of course). The sequel is expected to once again contain multiple musical numbers. One confirmed song is Blondies One Way or Another but with a Sanderson makeover. New and Old FacesDoug Jones is back as one of my favourite characters (they're all our favourites really, right?), Billy Butcherson. The Zombie will be back in the sequel and will once again be running through the streets of Salem. Doug did share an image of him in full Billy makeup but the image was removed not long after being posted. It was still plenty of time for the internet to save it though, so we can see Billy once more. Other new cast members also include Whitney Peak, Lilia Buckingham, Belissa Escobedo, Tony Hale, Sam Richardson, Hannah Waddingham, Juju Brener, Froy Gutierrez, Taylor Paige Henderson, and Nina Kitchen. John Debney has also been confirmed to be returning to score the film. Debney scored the original Hocus Pocus and I absolutely love that soundtrack, so I am very excited to see what he puts together for the sequel. Halloween! There appears to be a lot of confusion on the release date of Hocus Pocus 2. Disney originally stated that the film would be released in Fall 2022, this much we know to be true, however producer Adam Shankman posted on Instagram that the film has wrapped filming and would be released "Halloween 2022". Many fans took this as the release date being October 31st, but currently, this has not been confirmed at all. As Halloween is such a huge Holiday now, "Halloween" could be any day in October and it doesn't make much sense for Disney to release the film on the actual day of Halloween. Sure it would be a huge hit and I can definitely see the film being one of Disney's highest watched films, but as soon as October is over, many people will go into Christmas mode and Halloween kinda gets pushed back (Halloween forever!). Which if this is the case, would cause a steep drop in viewers as soon as Halloween is over. I predict HP2 will be released mid October to ensure as many people watch and enjoy the sequel during the spookiest month of the year. I know i'll be watching both films over and over again all year anyway. Museum? Never Heard of ItIn Hocus Pocus, the Sanderson Sisters house has been turned into a museum which still contains all of their possessions. In the sequel however, it appears the Museum has now changed to a Magic Shop. It also appears that the Salem Scare Fest takes place right outside the magic shop too. The entire building is surrounded by all of the stalls and rides in set pictures that have been posted online. With that being said, the shop may not actually be the original house but a replica, built for the festival and the real house is still tucked away amongst the trees waiting for the Sisters to return. That's just my theory though and I guess only time will tell... Young Sanderson SistersWe know from set pictures released online that a set of 1600 Salem was built. The set was built at Chase Farm Park, Rhode Island and features the famous Salem Witch House. The scenes filmed here will feature the young Sanderson Sisters and will create a backstory for the three witches. Mother Sanderson"Motherrrrr" Mother Sanderson will finally be making an appearance in Hocus Pocus 2. Casting for the film revealed that the character would be a part of the sequel and early rumours suggested it was going to be a big star like Cher or Diana Ross.
Thankfully it appears the rumoured casting is false, however fans are already speculating that Mother Sanderson will be played by Hannah Waddingham. What's This? Is a brand new collection that will be dropping next week, March 4th! The collection has been a labour of love that I have been working on since the start of 2021 and I am over the moon to finally share it with you all. What's This? is inspired by one of the best Halloween/Christmas films and I think you can easily tell which one. Although originally planned to be released around October last year, life seemed to get in the way and planning was pushed back, but it's finally here! I absolutely love this film and it was so much fun putting this collection together and I really hope you'll enjoy it too! Everything in this post will be available 6PM March 4th 2022 via October31st.co.uk. PostcardsFour brand new postcards will be available next week. Two of these designs are also available on a matching mug. Gift WrapThree new designs of gift wrap will be hitting the store too. Although I did design them all (so technically love them all), I have to say the patch work paper is definitely my favourite of the three. The green paper was also available in December with a Christmas theme, the red paper has been swapped for green and the overall design has removed snow flakes and replaced them with bugs. StickersThese stickers were the very first things that were designed for this collection and they have been ready for literally months., so it's great to finally put them out into the world. Each sticker is made from waterproof vinyl and will be available individually and as a set. Greeting CardsGreeting cards are always so popular in my store, so it was only right I created three new ones. Making Birthday, Well, well, well and Witch's fondest dream cards all come in A6 size, with the Well, well, well card also having a few extra bugs on the back too. MugsThese mugs are also available in matching postcards, which together would make an amazing gift! These are limited but will be back in stock asap if they sell out. PRINTSThe second product that was designed for this collection would be the Skellington Bones print. These prints are designed to be Halloween advertisement prints, the kind of things you would expect to find in windows and magazines. All prints are A4 in size with a matt finish, so they're super soft! Pillows! It's been a while since I've made new originally pillows, so it was great to come up with three new designs. These pillows will be sold as a set of three! NotepadNeed to make plans for next Halloween? Well not you can! This A6 notepad contains 25 pages and is perfect for all of your spooky Halloween 2022 plans. Record Player SlipmatThe first ever record player slipmat that will be hitting my store and it definitely had to be this particular design. This design came to mind in early 2021 and had gone through a few design stages before it was finally complete. I am absolutely love it though and it looks great when it spins. Pocket MirrorsTwo pocket mirrors in an Oogie and Skeleton Jack design will be available! BadgesAnd finally there will be five new badges available. These badges will be sold individually and part of a set, at a slightly cheaper price. This collection will continue to grow throughout the year, so expect many more new products to join this range. Due to the many design phases of this collection too, there will also be the first ever seconds sale where a small number of mugs and prints will be sold at a lower price. The seconds sale will not go live on the same day but will be available sometime in March.
February might contain the loveliest Holiday of the year but that doesn't mean we still can't get our spooky fix! Once again i've been trawling the internet in search of spooky products and here are my favourite finds of the month so far. This month definitely has a theme too, as I came across so many ghostie finds, it was actually a tough choice on what to feature. All products in today's post are all from small businesses too, so if you make a purchase, you'll be supporting these amazing artists and stores. Trick 'r Treat Sam Halloween Throw BlanketIf you're a fan of Trick 'r Treat, then you will love this blanket! This throw blanket features masked and unmasked Sam, along with his famous lolly and is made from super soft polyester. Measuring 6o inches by 50 inches means you'll also be nicely covered and wrapped up warm too. This blanket would be perfect at Halloween to wrap around yourself, with a nice bowl of Candy Corn and Trick 'r Treat on the Tv! You can grab this blanket right HERE. Ghost Foot StoolThe first ghost product on todays list is a great one! This footstool from The Divine Occultist has been up-cycled by hand and features a ghost and tree print all over. Having purchased from The Divine Occultist in the past, I can definitely recommend this product and also great customer service too. You can grab this (and many other products) right HERE. Ghost SuncatcherWinter might be in full swing, but spring is just around the corner and with a new season, comes longer days. Fans of this film will love this pin and if you've never seen A Ghost Story, add it to your list of films to watch asap! The pin is also double layered, with the window frame being the top layer. This pin is fantastic and such a clever design. Even if you haven't seen the movie, I highly recommend adding this pin to your pin collection. You can pick up this ghostie pin right HERE. Pin Up Ghost PrintIt seems like sexy ghosts have become a bit of a thing in the last couple of years and this print features a great one! This original design from Lavender Seance features a playful ghost, showing off a little more than just its sheet. When I first came across this, it really made me laugh and I knew I just had to add it to this months list. What's more is that, the images feature one of my very own products... the Vintage Halloween spirit board, this of course did not mean this product was more likely to be featured, but it was a really nice surprise to see one of my own products used for this. You can pick up this print right HERE. Oogie Boogie EarsWell, well, well.... what have we here? Oogie Ears? oooooo i'm really scared! How cool are these? These handmade Oogie Boogie ears are made from soft marino wool felt and feature Halloween Towns biggest villain. Oogies eyes, mouth and the dice in the centre of this headband all glow in the dark. These would be amazing to take with you to Disneyland during October, especially during the evening when the park is dark. Grab your own set of Oogie Ears right HERE. Pumpkin Gizmo PinGremlins is such a great film and one of the best things about that film's is Gizmo, add in a little bit of Halloween and you've got this adorable pin. Halloween Pumpkin PrintMake space on your walls, as you'll need to add this print! This Halloween print from Cult Curiosities features a sinister (but cute) pumpkin character with a spooky lantern/bird cage and multiple ghosts. The print is available in multiple sizes and you can also purchase similar prints from this store too, so why not grab the whole set? Be sure to check out all the other treats available from this store and you can grab this print by clicking HERE. Halloween BuntingThe final product on today's list is this Halloween Ghost and Pumpkin Bunting. The bunting contains three pumpkins and two ghosts hanging on jute twine. It has vintage style, that I absolutely love and this would look amazing during Halloween, or just hanging up all year. Each piece has been made from thick reclaimed wood, which has been cut and then hand painted. I can definitely see this in my own home in the very near future, as I can't stop looking at it. If you would like to pick up your own spooky bunting, just click HERE. Click here to What spooky finds have you found this month? Let me know in the comments below and I might just feature them in March.
