Missing Halloween and the month of October? Me too! So from now until Halloween, each week they'll be a new 'Seven Spooky Things' post to ensure you can add a bit of Halloween to your day 365 days a year.

These Seven Spooky Things should keep you well spooked from May 25th to May 31st. Throughout May each week will be themed and this weeks final theme is Trick or Treat!
If you want to add some tricks and treats to your own home then you'll love this weeks SST.

Check out this weeks activities below:

Monday

This week is all about Tricks and Treats! So expect candy crafts and makes. Kick-starting the week we're going to be making homemade peanut butter cups!

One of the most popular Halloween candies in America and so it's only right the week is started by making them ourselves. They're easy to make and only take around 15 minutes.

Find out how to make your very own cups right here.

Todays make is this really sweet Jack'o Lantern Trick or Treat bag. It will take a little time to make but it's 100% worth it!

You'll be able to use this year after year too so you won't need to worry about finding another bag each Halloween. Plus why not use this for some light shopping too? Just because it's intended use is a treat bag, does not mean you can't take it out to get groceries.

Find out all the details you need to make your own bag and get stitching right here.

Wednesday

Todays make is super easy, super quick and super fun (also super spooky). These Lolly Pop ghosts can be made with things around the house and would be a great little hide and go treat game for the kids.

All you really need is some paper/cloth, lollies and ribbon. Find out all the details on how to make these quick treats right here.

Thursday

Continuing with yesterdays ghost theme, today it's less of a make and more of a dress up. Now this one you might want to pin until Halloween or if you're in a decorating mood get dressing up now.

All you really need for this is some white fabric, mini treat buckets and dolls. You can either buy a few cheap dolls or if you have them in your home then you're pretty much all set. Just drape a circle of white fabric over each doll with black eyes drawn onto the fabric and attach a treat bucket to each hand. Easy!

They make great little trick or treater decorations for your porch or just give your doll a spooky make over. This idea comes from Good Morning America and can be found here.

Friday

It's nearly the end of the week and today we're going to be doing a little up-cycling. Using old tin cans, paint, tape and card you can make your own tin treat buckets. Use them for trick or treating or just as cute little storage pots.

You can find a template for the wings and all the details right here. Why not create your own designs too and create a whole collection of spooky tin buckets that will also help the planet by reducing waste?

Saturday

Saturday is movie night this week and once again you've got two films to choose from.

The first is the hugely popular and now cult classic film Trick'r Treat!

Released in 2007, Trick'r Treat was actually only shown at a small number of screens and didn't have a wide release. Over the years the film has grown in popularity with

a sequel officially announced in 2016 (although nothing has happened since it's announcement). The film is an anthology film that follows four different stories on Halloween night that are all linked together in one way or another. Definitely not one for the kids but definitely worth a watch.
Your second film for today is the highly enjoyable Monster House. The film focuses on three kids who discover their neighbours house isn't just haunted but actually a living breathing monster. The film is a lot of fun and worth a watch every October!

Your last make of the week, the last make of the month and also the last make of our themed weeks is here... sad face, BUT it's a great one as today we're going to make HOMEMADE CANDY CORN!

This recipe does require quite a few steps and ingredients but once you get the hang of it, not only will you be able to make your very own Candy Corn whenever you like but you'll be able to make it year after year as Halloween treats too!

Find out all of the details you need to make your very own sweet treats right here.

Another week is here and today you've got not one but two spooky things to do. This Monday is movie night and it's a classic, a 1966 classic to be precise, Kill, Baby... Kill!

A Carpathian village is haunted by the ghost of a murderous little girl, prompting a coroner and a medical student to uncover her secrets while a witch attempts to protect the villagers.

Along with the film you can also check out todays Behind the Sofa podcast from Ollie and Kirsty. They release a new podcast every Monday focusing on a different movie each week and today's podcast is all about Monday's film. Check out Behind the Sofa right here and also be sure to hit like on the BTS Facebook page so you never miss another episode.

As of today (Monday 16th) there are only 229 days until Halloween and honestly thats just not enough time at all for us spooks. But to make the countdown a bit more fun, these easy to make countdown blocks will help count down the days until spooky season is back in full swing.

Spring is less than a week away so lets get ready to plant things and see them bloom this year.

Today's project are these adorable Halloween plant pots. They're extremely easy to make and a really fun! All you need are some paints and plant pots and you're all ready to go. Most homes will most likely have a plant pot around somewhere, whether it be in the garage, garden shed or sitting outside with a dead plant in it thats been there for about 8 years.... and if you don't, places like Poundland and Home Bargains will have plenty. So grab your pots and get designing via the link right HERE.

Also make sure you have a few extra pots as Fridays make will need a few more too...

It's time to relax a little today with a wonderful article from Maple Grove Cemetery all about Tillson Street. Located in Romeo, Michigan, Tillson Street goes all out every single year for Halloween and the street looks absolutely amazing. Luckily for us Maple Grove Cemetery has created two posts all about the street and it's filled with so many pictures! Not only does this street look fangtastic but you might be able to get a few ideas for your own Halloween displays this year too.

Check out Part 1 here and part 2 right here.

Friday

Grab those left over plant pots and lets get making again. Today you can use your pots to make your very own Candy Machine! Once again it's really easy to make and also extremely cheap. It looks brilliant and would look fantastic at your next Halloween party, or just out all year so you can get your candy fix.

Right right over HERE to check out how to make it.

And once again.. if you have any left over plant pots save them for tomorrows make!

Saturday

You've got two very easy makes today and this is the last make of the week as tomorrow is going to be a nice chill day because lets be honest... if you've made everything so far then you will need a rest! You can either use tin cans or plant pots today to make your very own garden decorations. These will look so great hanging under your trees in the garden, slowly swaying in the spring air, you're guaranteed to add a touch of spook outside.

If you would like to make the ghost it's right HERE and the witch and monster are right HERE.

Sunday

The last day of the week is here and if you have made everything then please do pat yourself on the back because you deserve it!

As I mentioned yesterday today is a nice chill day and what better way to relax then with some cute little online Halloween games. Halloween Mountain has a selection of 6 spooky games that you can play, just try not to get too addicted as tomorrow is another week...

October 31st's Halloween 2019 reveal!

The best time of the year is almost upon us!
October is just around the corner and with it brings this years Halloween range!
Launching September 30th (just in time for spooky season) at 12pm (UK time) all the below products will be available. They are all limited edition and just like last year, they won't be restocked so get them while you can!

Originally the theme for this year was going to be Witches but as the planning started it was clear that a little more time was needed to make it truly magical. The plan was for the range to be split into two themes, the first being something fun and magical and the other half was going to be more of a tribute to the witch trials of the UK and USA. More time was needed and so for now it has been placed aside with the intention to release in 2020 instead.

So with witches out something else needed to take its place... pumpkins and candy!

This years range focuses on Jack'o Lanterns and Candy Corn! Two iconic symbols of the spooky holiday. Add in a small touch of horror and you've got the October 31st Halloween 2019 range. What's also new is that this year three of the products have been designed by Demi Luna Rose!

Check it out below and get ready for it's launch tomorrow!

Badges
These badges will be available individually and as a set of five (at a lower price). The set includes 2 Pumpkins, Candy Corn, Trick or Treat and a Witchy Pumpkin badge designed by Demi Luna Rose.
Picture
Pocket Mirrors
Two different pocket mirrors will be available tomorrow. You'll be able to get your claws on the Candy Corn mirror or the Pumpkin and Horror themed mirror.
Picture
Picture
Beanie Hats
Get ready for the colder days and show off a little love for Halloween with these embroidered beanie hats. Featuring three iconic pumpkins!
Picture
Pencils
Add a touch of spook to your stationary with this set of three Halloween pencils. This set contains a Trick or Treat, Happy Halloween and This Pencil is Haunted Pencil. Each pencil is also pumpkin orange.
Picture
Stitch on Patches
Personalise your jacket, bag, jeans and more with these two stitch on patches. These screen printed patches are available in two designs, the first being an iconic pumpkin design and the other is the unofficial rules of Halloween
Picture
Stickers
Three new stickers available individually or as a set (at a lower price) will go on sale tomorrow. The Candy Corn Witch Hat and Pumpkin Lolly stickers have been designed by Demi Luna Rose. All three stickers are also waterproof!
Picture
Pumpkin Lolly Plush
The final product of this years range was never actually planned for the range. This Lolly plush was created over a year ago but was never added to the store. The original plan was for the lolly to support itself, so it always stood up and didn't bend but trying to get that to happen was a big no, so instead the Lolly plush does fully bend and curl. These will be available at a low price and will hopefully be re-released in the near future fully supported! They are handmade and very limited.
