Missing Halloween and the month of October? Me too! So from now until Halloween, each week they'll be a new 'Seven Spooky Things' post to ensure you can add a bit of Halloween to your day 365 days a year.

These Seven Spooky Things should keep you well spooked from June 8th to June 14th.

Check out all of this weeks daily tasks below:

Monday

It's the start of the week and usually I always start with something quick and easy to get you into the new week but todays make isn't an easy one, but it is fun and worth it.

You'll need a few tools, wood and paint but with everything you have you can make your very own Coffin Shelf! In the video it only took 1 hour 30 minutes for them to make one of these so you won't have to worry about this taking days and you can actually get this completed today!

Check out the video on how to make one of these right here.

Tuesday

Compared to yesterdays make this one is super easy! Today you can make your very own Tombstone Treat Boxes.

These little cardboard boxes would be great for a party, a gothic wedding favour or even use them as your invitations for this years Halloween party.
They don't take long to make at all and really do look great.

Plus you can have a whole load of fun just coming up with ideas on what to write on each tombstone.

Find out all the details right here.

Wednesday

If you have a spare set of fairy lights or can grab some for cheap (pound stores usually sell them) then grab some black or white card and some scissors and lets get making these easy peasy Black Cat or Ghost lights.

They're quick and extremely effective. The perfect way to add a little spooky touch to your crypt.

Check out the tutorial right here.

Thursday

Todays make is a little time consuming and you'll need to grab a few supplies but it looks AMAZING and is totally worth your time.

This The Nightmare Before Christmas inspired countdown clock decoration really does look great and you can change it depending on what holiday you're counting down to by simply flipping the little sign.

You should be able to find almost everything you need for this in craft stores so you won't have to travel all over the place to make it.

Read all the details on how to make your own right here.

Friday

You'll be pleased to know the final two makes for this week are super easy, so the rest of the week is going to be a lot more relaxing.

Today using old egg cartons, paints, card and some goggly eyes you can make a little Halloween crew. These will be a really fun make with the kids and will also help to reduce waste.

Check out this little make right here.

Saturday

Today is film night and todays film is a Halloween film definitely for adults, so do not watch this one with the kids.

Candy Corn was released in 2019 and has already become somewhat of a cult classic. Trick or Treat studios have released an official line of Candy Corn products and the soundtrack has also been released on limited edition vinyl.
The film is a low budget movie but don't let that put you off as the effects are great and the storyline will have you hooked from start to finish.

It's Halloween weekend and a group of bullies are planning their annual hazing on local outcast, Jacob Atkins. When they take things too far, he's resurrected to seek revenge against those that wronged him.

Candy Corn is currently available for free on Amazon Prime.

Your final make for the week and this one is easy, so easy that all it might take is a quick trip into the garden and back.

All you need is a glue gun, black card and some twigs to make these really simple, yet great looking bat decoration.

You can find out how to make this and more right here.

Missing Halloween and the month of October? Me too! So from now until Halloween, each week they'll be a new 'Seven Spooky Things' post to ensure you can add a bit of Halloween to your day 365 days a year.

These Seven Spooky Things should keep you well spooked from May 25th to May 31st. Throughout May each week will be themed and this weeks final theme is Trick or Treat!
If you want to add some tricks and treats to your own home then you'll love this weeks SST.

Check out this weeks activities below:

Monday

This week is all about Tricks and Treats! So expect candy crafts and makes. Kick-starting the week we're going to be making homemade peanut butter cups!

One of the most popular Halloween candies in America and so it's only right the week is started by making them ourselves. They're easy to make and only take around 15 minutes.

Find out how to make your very own cups right here.

Tuesday

Todays make is this really sweet Jack'o Lantern Trick or Treat bag. It will take a little time to make but it's 100% worth it!

You'll be able to use this year after year too so you won't need to worry about finding another bag each Halloween. Plus why not use this for some light shopping too? Just because it's intended use is a treat bag, does not mean you can't take it out to get groceries.

Find out all the details you need to make your own bag and get stitching right here.

Picture
Wednesday

Todays make is super easy, super quick and super fun (also super spooky). These Lolly Pop ghosts can be made with things around the house and would be a great little hide and go treat game for the kids.

All you really need is some paper/cloth, lollies and ribbon. Find out all the details on how to make these quick treats right here.

Thursday

Continuing with yesterdays ghost theme, today it's less of a make and more of a dress up. Now this one you might want to pin until Halloween or if you're in a decorating mood get dressing up now.

All you really need for this is some white fabric, mini treat buckets and dolls. You can either buy a few cheap dolls or if you have them in your home then you're pretty much all set. Just drape a circle of white fabric over each doll with black eyes drawn onto the fabric and attach a treat bucket to each hand. Easy!

They make great little trick or treater decorations for your porch or just give your doll a spooky make over. This idea comes from Good Morning America and can be found here.

Friday

It's nearly the end of the week and today we're going to be doing a little up-cycling. Using old tin cans, paint, tape and card you can make your own tin treat buckets. Use them for trick or treating or just as cute little storage pots.

You can find a template for the wings and all the details right here. Why not create your own designs too and create a whole collection of spooky tin buckets that will also help the planet by reducing waste?

Saturday

Saturday is movie night this week and once again you've got two films to choose from.

The first is the hugely popular and now cult classic film Trick'r Treat!

Released in 2007, Trick'r Treat was actually only shown at a small number of screens and didn't have a wide release. Over the years the film has grown in popularity with
Picture
a sequel officially announced in 2016 (although nothing has happened since it's announcement). The film is an anthology film that follows four different stories on Halloween night that are all linked together in one way or another. Definitely not one for the kids but definitely worth a watch.
Your second film for today is the highly enjoyable Monster House. The film focuses on three kids who discover their neighbours house isn't just haunted but actually a living breathing monster. The film is a lot of fun and worth a watch every October!

Sunday

Your last make of the week, the last make of the month and also the last make of our themed weeks is here... sad face, BUT it's a great one as today we're going to make HOMEMADE CANDY CORN!

This recipe does require quite a few steps and ingredients but once you get the hang of it, not only will you be able to make your very own Candy Corn whenever you like but you'll be able to make it year after year as Halloween treats too!

Find out all of the details you need to make your very own sweet treats right here.

If You Love Candy Corn You'll Love These Ten Candy Corn Products

Picture
Candy Corn is possibly the most loved and hated Halloween candy out of all the Halloween candy available on the market. So many people love it but at the same time so many people absolutely hate it, which personally I think is crazy. Not only is it an iconic candy but it also tastes great.

If like me you love it then you'll love these ten Candy Corn themed products and if you don't like Candy Corn then you're in luck! As you can't eat any of these products but they'll look super cute in your home.

Picture
Candy Corn Stained Glass Sun Catcher

This sun catcher is handmade by Scary Carrie Designs on Etsy and would look great in your window all year long. Its made from glass, lead solder and copper foil. It comes with a hanging chain attached so you can easily hang it in the window and will cast a lovely Halloween glow across your room.

Perfect for when you're missing Halloween in the middle of Summer. What's more is that every order also comes with extra treats!

Find out more about this sun catcher right here.

Picture
Jack-o-Corn Enamel Pin

How great is this Jack-o-Corn pin from Sourpuss?  It's made from a mixture of enamel and metal and measures approximately 1 inch by 1.5 inch, so it's a great little spooky accessory to add to your jacket.

The glittery design was designed by Alexandre Fische for Sourpuss. They also released a few more Candy Corn pin designs which are also available from their store right now.

You can grab this from Sourpuss Europe or October 31st.

Picture
Candy Corn Pocket Mirror

As a lover of Candy Corn and all things associated with it I had to add a bunch of original Candy Corn products to the October 31st store and so apart from a pillow and badge, this mirror was released last year for the 2019 Halloween range.

It's been so popular though that it looks like it's here to stay for while. The mirror fits perfectly in your pocket or make-up bag and is covered in cute Candy Corns.

Grab your own mirror right here.

Picture
20 Candy Corns in a bag from Bethany Lowe Designs

Who doesn't need a bag of twenty different sized candle corns?  These decorations will add a sweet touch (see what I did there) to your Halloween decorating for sure. The Candy Corns range from 1.25 inches to 3.5 inches high and are covered all over in glitter.

I actually own these after buying them from Zulily last year and have them sitting in a large cauldron with a few artificial autumn leaves sticking out of the sides to add an autumnal touch. They really do look great and even better in person.

You can grab them from here and here.

Picture
Candy Corn Salt and Pepper Shakers from Johanna Parker Designs

This salt and pepper Candy Corn set is part of Johanna Parkers 2019 range and has been extremely popular. When Johanna first posted these on her instagram I knew I needed to get them and luckily I did.

They measure approximately 3.5 inches high  and would loko great in your kitchen or on your dining table 365 days a year.

Grab your very own set of these cute little guys right here.

Picture
Paper Honeycomb Centrepiece Candy Corn Decoration

What's great about this decoration is that it's not only extremely cheap but also looks great. It measures approximately 30cm tall and although its designed as a table centrepiece you can always thread a little string through it and hang it around the house, on the porch, in trees (for a Halloween garden party?) or pretty much anywhere you can place it.

To grab your very own Honeycomb decoration just click here.

Picture
Candy Corn Earrings

Handmade by Hand Craft Lab on Etsy, these Candy Corn Earrings are made from a mixture of enamel and metal alloy. They measures approximately 0.8cm by 0.6cm so fairly small but perfect to add a small touch of Halloween to your day.

You can purchase your own pair right here.

Picture
Glittery Candy Corn Pick

This Candy Corn pick from Craft Outlet can be placed into a vase on it's own to make a stand alone Halloween decoration or add it to a bunch of flowers, place in bushes when decorating outside or just about anywhere you can easily slot it into. It measures 16 inches high and has wire stems for easy adjustment. It's also cheap too at only $2.50! So why not just have a whole bunch of these sitting in a vase?

Swipe up a bunch right here.

Picture
Corny Vinyl Sticker

Made by Creepies, this Corny Sticker features a cute little Candy Corn character who actually looks like they've eaten far too much Candy Corn themselves (would that be cannibalism? I hope not). The durable vinyl sticker measures approximately 4 inches high and is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.

You can pick one up from Creepies store right here and be sure to check out all their other wonderful treats too!

Picture
Halloween Badge Set

The last item on this list isn't just a single Candy Corn item but a bunch of wonderful Halloween treats! Created by Simons Nest on Etsy, this set includes a total of four Halloween badges with one being an adorable trio of Candy Corns.

With how great this set of badges is, I couldn't leave it off the list. You can grab your own set right here and also be sure to check out other items from the Simons Nest store too.
